Getting Here
The Catholic Center is located adjacent to the Old Queens Campus of Rutgers University (part of the current College Avenue Campus) at 84 Somerset Street in New Brunswick. (Remember to take that left turn at Albequerque!)
If you are driving…
From the New Jersey Turnpike:
Take the NJ Turnpike to exit 9 and bear right onto Route 18 North (note that you will need to get over to the two left hand lanes to continue on 18 after you follow the exits from the Turnpike).
Follow Directions from Route 18 North.
From I-287
Take exit 10: Easton Avenue (County Route 527), towards New Brunswick. Continue approximately 4.5 miles on Easton Ave and make a left turn onto Somerset Street (the preceding traffic light is Hamilton Street). The Catholic Center will be on your right, about half a block, right after passing St. Peter's Church. It will be the only parking lot on your right, Please park in one
of the spaces marked “guest.”
From Route 18 North:
After the first light (after crossing over US Route 1), Route 18 splits for the local New Brunswick exits, stay to the right and local exits. Proceed through two traffic lights and take the exit for Route 27 South towards New Brunswick. Continue straight on Route 27 and at the third light, George Street, make a right turn. Immediately after you pass under the NJ Transit Train tracks, turn left onto Somerset Street. Our parking lot is the first lot on the left after passing the taxi stand. Please park in one
of the spaces marked “guest.”
From Route 18 South (Busch/Livingston Campuses):
After crossing the Raritan on the James Lynch Bridge (Route 18 Bridge), take the first exit (George Street) and continue straight at the traffic light. Make a right turn on the fourth intersection, Somerset Street (Preceeding Streets are Bishop Pl, Seminary Pl, Hamilton St and the turn will be just before an train underpass that says "New Brunswick: The Health Care City") Our parking lot is the first lot on the left after passing the taxi stand. Please park in one
of the spaces marked “guest.”
If you are taking a campus bus…
Take a campus bus to the College Avenue Campus and take the stop that is in front of the “grease trucks” and across the street from Scott Hall. Proceed down College Avenue away from the Rutgers Student Center and towards Scarlet Fever and the Rutgers Bookstore. Turn Left at the end of College Ave (one block, Somerset Street), and the Catholic Center is located to the left of St. Peter's Church.
