Mission Trips
Whenever there is a break at RU, we try to fill that with an opportunity to go out into the world and serve those less fortunate. During Christmas Break, there is a trip to Mexico, we have an alternative Spring Break trip that will be going to West Virginia this year, and our yearly trip to Tanzania in May.
There are many people who want to go on these trips and limited amount of space.
Mexico
Bro. Pat runs this trip every Winter break for men only (sorry ladies, we are looking at getting a girls only trip going soon). Students travel to Mexico to help build a house, visit with orphans and those afflicted with drug and alcohol addictions. The program is one week long and if you are interested, contact Bro. Pat

Alternative Spring Break
This spring break, Fr. Keith will be taking a group of students to Nazareth Farm in West Virginia to spend Spring Break in style... meaning helping those in need! It is a week long service-retreat experience in which we will be repairing homes in the area. We will be announcing this at Mass shortly and are looking for individuals who might be interested in attending this life-changing experience. If you are interested contact Fr. Keith.
Tanzania
Students work in a school and in an HIV / AIDS orphanage, shortly after the end of Spring Semester (two week trip). Br. Ken and other chaplains will accompany students to Tanzania. Interview process with Br. Ken is necessary (announcements are typically made midway though the Fall Semester since it requires MUCH planning and preparation). For more information, please email Br. Ken, or call him at 732-545-6663.
